7-27-05:
Work on the project has begun. The beetle was picked up from the location it was being stored
at. Currently it is undergoing prep work to be painted at Hutch's Paint and Body. One of our club members works there and has voluntered to do the whole paint job.
8-7-05:
All of the body work is complete and the bug is now ready to be painted. It will be all one color
(no more two tone). The paint color is 7-Up green.
8-20-05:
The bug has been painted. Pictures should be in soon. The guys at Oak Hill have begun
to received the parts they ordered as their work progresses. All the Engine sheet metal has been Powder Coated
by Steven Patty.
8-30-05:
More parts have been donated allowing progress to continue. The first working weekend has been
scheduled for September 18th at the home of Ken and Helen Sellers, 224 Pony LN. in Hallsville. For more info on it call

9-13-05:
A new list of Parts needed will be up soon. There are still many items we need, so either pick an
item to donate or send in money. New Pics have been uploaded and more are on the way in the next few days.
